The COMPLETE solution
With the 1394 COMPLETE, Orsys offers an IEEE 1394 EVM Kit for developers of embedded systems, and provides an easy introduction to the IEEE 1394 technology without having to be familiar with the whole subject. It helps integrating IEEE 1394 bus communication very easily into DSP-applications running on the TMS320C32.

IEEE 1394 software drivers included
The EVM-Kit includes standard IEEE 1394 API for the SC1394-1995 for isochronous and asynchronous data transfer. Besides the library for IEEE 1394 communication, there are also application examples included, which explain how to use the API-commands. The examples are provided as Code Composer projects with all necessary environment settings.

A part of the micro-line® family
The boards used in the 1394 COMPLETE are parts of the micro-line® board family including a number of DSP boards with Texas Instruments DSPs. Besides the DSP boards, several peripheral boards can be plugged on the 1394 COMPLETE such as multi-channel analog I/O and digital I/O.

The micro-line® Interface
The micro-line® Interface is a flexible and easy-to-handle bus interconnection between different micro-line® boards.
